Behind the Scenes of My Virtual World
Behind the Scenes of My Virtual World
At first, it was simple: I didn’t like showing myself in photos. (laughs…)
So, little by little, instead of taking selfies, I started creating a character—a drawn version of myself.
This avatar became a gentle way to represent myself without hiding, a double that’s freer, more playful, more expressive.
And without even realizing it, it ended up becoming a true artistic companion: a mini-me that dares, that tells stories, that illustrates my thoughts and creative impulses.
The idea came little by little, from the joy of creating imaginary characters, like paper dolls. It was a lot of fun, and then I thought: what could I do with these characters?
And one day, I imagined:“What if I told stories?”
That’s how Story Dolls, my very first virtual mini-magazine, was born.
A place where I let my inspirations take shape, a bit like an ideas laboratory.
Later, I felt the need to bring together all my creative experiences: my drawings, my gifs, my zines, my stickers, my illustrations…
I was looking for a place, a space of my own. A warm, welcoming space, like a café where you feel comfortable and come to relax.
Discovering the Ko-fi platform gave me the spark:
“Here it is! This is where I can create my virtual Coffee Shop.”
A cozy, no-fuss place where I can share my ongoing projects… and welcome those who enjoy my world like regulars at a real café.
This creative Coffee Shop has become my haven: a place where my creations take shape, get organized… and where I can share them...
